வறியவர்க்கு ஈதல் வேண்டும் அதனால் புகழ் உண்டாக வாழ வேண்டும், அப் புகழ் அல்லாமல் உயிர்க்கு ஊதியமானது வேறொன்றும் இல்லை.

சாலமன் பாப்பையா

ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுப்பது; அதனால் புகழ் பெருக வாழ்வது; இப்புகழ் அன்றி மனிதர்க்குப் பயன் வேறு ஒன்றும் இல்லை.
