The Greatest Treasure

In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Aryan. Aryan was a bright boy, but he was quite possessive of his belongings. He never liked sharing his toys or sweets with anyone. One sunny afternoon, Aryan had been saving his pocket money for months to buy a magnificent wooden toy ship. As he walked towards the toy shop, he saw an old man sitting by the roadside, looking very weak and hungry. The man’s eyes were tired, and he had nothing to eat. Aryan stopped. He looked at his coins and then at the man. A conflict brewed in his heart: 'If I buy food for him, I won't have enough for my ship.' After a moment of hesitation, Aryan's heart melted. Instead of going to the toy shop, he went to a nearby bakery and bought warm bread and some fruit for the old man. As the man ate, a bright smile spread across his face, and he whispered, 'Bless you, child. You have a golden heart.' That feeling of warmth in Aryan's chest was far more wonderful than any toy. He realized that the joy of giving was much greater than the joy of owning. From that day on, Aryan became known in the village as a kind boy who always helped those in need.
