கிளைகளில் மலர்ந்த மலர்களைச் சூடினாலும், நீர் இந்த அழகை யாரோ ஒருத்திக்கு காட்டுவதற்காகச் சூடினீர் என்று சினம் கொள்வாள்.

சாலமன் பாப்பையா

ஒரு மாற்றம் கருதி, ஒருமுறை, மரத்திலே மலர்ந்த பூவை மாலையாக்கிச் சூடினேன். அதற்கு அவள், நீர் விரும்பும் எவளுக்கோ அடையாளம் காட்டிச் சூடினீர் என்று சினந்து நின்றாள்.
