In a grand kingdom, there lived a brave king. One day, a great danger approached. An army from a neighboring land was coming to attack, and they were far stronger and larger than the king's own forces. As the soldiers prepared for battle, a heavy cloud of doubt hung over them. "How can we possibly win against such a massive army?" they whispered among themselves. "It is impossible!"
Seeing the fear in their eyes, the king called his wise commander. The commander understood that the soldiers didn't need more weapons; they needed courage.
On the morning of the battle, the commander gathered all the soldiers in a circle. He held up a shiny golden coin. "Listen to me, brave warriors!" he shouted. "I am going to toss this coin into the air. It has the symbol of the Sun on one side and the Moon on the other. If the Sun side faces up when it lands, it is a sign from the heavens that we will be victorious today!"
Every soldier held their breath, watching the coin intently. The commander tossed it high into the sky. It spun rapidly through the air and landed on the grass with the Sun facing upward! A roar of excitement erupted from the crowd. The fear that had gripped their hearts vanished, replaced by an unstoppable energy. Driven by this newfound confidence, the soldiers charged into battle and successfully defended their kingdom.
After the victory, the king approached the commander with a curious smile. "Commander, you have done a great service. But tell me, how did you know the coin would land on the Sun side?"
The commander bowed respectfully and replied, "Your Majesty, the coin actually had the Sun symbol on both sides. I did not need luck; I only needed to give my soldiers the hope they required to fight bravely. True victory begins in the mind."
