The Scar of Words

In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun was bright and energetic, but he had a sharp tongue. Whenever he was frustrated, he would say mean things to others. One afternoon, his friend Rohan was proudly showing off a wooden toy car he had carved. Arjun, wanting to sound cool, laughed and said, 'That looks like a piece of junk, Rohan!' Rohan’s smile vanished, and he quietly walked away. A few days later, while helping in the kitchen, Arjun accidentally touched a hot pan. His hand turned red and stung painfully. He cried, but within a week, the burn had healed completely. However, Rohan didn't come out to play with Arjun for a long time. Arjun realized that while his physical burn was gone, the sting of his words was still hurting Rohan. He went to Rohan, looked him in the eyes, and said, 'I am so sorry, Rohan. My hand healed, but I realized my words left a scar on your heart that won't go away easily.' Rohan slowly forgave him, and Arjun learned to choose his words with great care from that day on.
