In a peaceful village lived two neighbors, Ravi and Somu. Ravi was a simple man who worked hard in his small garden, living a modest life. Somu, on the other hand, was very wealthy, but his heart was always heavy with envy. Whenever he saw someone succeeding, he felt a sting of jealousy. One summer, the village held a grand art competition. Ravi, using only simple colors he had saved for months, painted a breathtaking scene of the sunrise. Somu, seeing Ravi's talent, felt a surge of envy. To prove himself superior, Somu spent a fortune on the finest imported paints and created a massive, complex landscape. However, Somu’s painting felt cold and hollow. The judges were moved by the warmth and soul in Ravi's simple work. When Ravi was declared the winner, Somu didn't feel happy for his friend; instead, his envy grew, making him bitter and lonely.
