The Weight of Empty Words

In a peaceful valley lived a young boy named Leo. Leo was bright and energetic, but he had a habit that troubled his friends: he loved to talk just for the sake of talking. He would often make up grand, exaggerated stories or say silly things that had no meaning, just to get attention. One afternoon, while the village elders were discussing the upcoming harvest, Leo interrupted with a wild tale about a dragon hiding in the nearby hills. At first, the children laughed, but the adults felt annoyed by his interruption. As time went on, Leo's habit of speaking useless and untrue things grew. One day, when Leo actually saw a real problem in the village well, he ran to tell everyone. But instead of listening, the villagers simply shook their heads. 'Oh, it's just Leo telling another useless story,' they said, and they walked away. Leo felt a deep sting of loneliness. He realized that by filling his mouth with nonsense, he had emptied his words of value. From that day on, Leo learned to listen more and speak only when his words were true and helpful. Slowly, the villagers began to trust him once more.
