The Hoarder's Lost Fortune

In a peaceful valley lived a man named Arthur. Arthur was very wealthy, owning vast orchards and chests filled with gold. However, Arthur had a deep fear of spending. He believed that every coin he spent was a loss. One year, a terrible drought hit the valley. The villagers struggled to buy food, and many children went hungry. Arthur had plenty of grain in his granary, but he refused to sell it, hoping the prices would rise even higher. At the same time, the village school's roof was leaking, making it impossible for children to study. When the village elders asked for a small donation to fix it, Arthur turned them away, clutching his purse tightly. Years passed. Because the grain sat unused, it rotted and was eaten by pests. Because he never invested in the community, the village grew poor, and eventually, no one was left to trade with him. His wealth slowly dwindled through neglect and bad luck. Arthur realized too late that wealth is like water; if it doesn't flow through the right channels at the right time, it simply stagnates and disappears.
