In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Karikalan. He was known for his kindness and sharp intelligence. Everyone in the village loved him because of his helpful nature. One day, a group of new boys moved into the neighborhood. They were clever, but they spent their time playing pranks on others and being dishonest. Karikalan started spending all his time with them. Slowly, something changed. The boy who used to help everyone began to mock others and hide things. He wasn't the same kind Karikalan anymore. His grandfather noticed this change and sat him down. 'Karikalan,' he said gently, 'your wisdom comes from your own mind, but your character is shaped by the people you walk with. If you walk with those who are unkind, you will eventually become unkind too.' Karikalan realized that his new friends were pulling him away from his true self. He decided to leave that group and find friends who valued honesty and kindness. Soon, the bright and caring Karikalan returned, and the village was happy to see him again.
