The True Wealth

Once, there lived a wealthy merchant named Somnath. Through hard work, he had accumulated vast amounts of gold, lands, and businesses. However, Somnath had a flaw: he believed that money was the only thing that mattered. He spent all his time counting his coins and managing his trades, often ignoring his younger brother, Raghu, and his nephew, Kathir. He thought, 'Why do I need people when I have all this wealth?' One winter, Somnath fell terribly ill. As he lay alone in his massive mansion, he realized that his gold could not bring him a glass of water or comfort his aching body. He felt deeply lonely. Just when he felt most helpless, Raghu and Kathir rushed to his side. They stayed by his bed day and night, nursing him back to health with care and love.
