The Clever Way Forward

In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun loved tending to his small garden. One morning, he noticed a large, heavy stone had rolled right into the middle of his flowerbed, threatening his favorite rose bush. Arjun tried to push the stone with all his might. He pushed and heaved, his face turning red, but the stone wouldn't budge an inch. Feeling defeated, he sat down on the grass. His grandfather, an old wise man, walked over and saw him. 'Arjun,' he said gently, 'it is good to fight a challenge head-on when you can. But if you find you cannot move it by force, do not give up. Instead, look for a different way to succeed.' Arjun thought deeply. He realized that pushing directly wasn't working. He went to the shed, grabbed a long, sturdy wooden plank, and wedged it under the stone. Using the plank as a lever, he pressed down with his weight. With a loud 'thud,' the stone rolled away! Arjun smiled brightly. He learned that when strength isn't enough, wisdom finds the path.
