In a peaceful village lived two close friends, Arjun and Vikram. Arjun came from a respected family known for its honesty, and Vikram was a hardworking young man. One sunny afternoon, while visiting a bustling market, Arjun accidentally lost his precious gold ring and a pouch of coins. A stranger picked it up and hurried away. Arjun was heartbroken. Vikram, seeing his friend's distress, immediately went to find the person. To Vikram's surprise, the stranger was an old acquaintance who whispered, 'Take this money and run, Vikram. No one will ever know. It's an easy way to get rich!' Vikram felt a momentary temptation. However, he thought of Arjun’s character and the values his own family stood for. He knew that a friendship built on deceit was worthless. Vikram firmly refused the money and helped Arjun report the loss to the village elders instead. Arjun was deeply moved by Vikram's unwavering integrity. He realized that a friend who fears doing wrong and values honor is more precious than all the gold in the world.
