In a bright little village lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun loved making friends. One day, a boy named Leo joined his group. Leo was energetic, but he had a bad habit: he loved breaking rules and making fun of others to feel powerful. Slowly, Arjun started following Leo's lead, ignoring his kind and honest friends. During a big school race, Leo, wanting to win at any cost, tripped Arjun on purpose and ran ahead. Arjun fell hard and felt deeply hurt, not just physically, but by the betrayal. As he sat alone, he realized that being alone was much better than being with someone who would let him down when it mattered most. He learned that a bad companion is like an untrained horse that throws its rider in the heat of battle; it is safer to walk alone than to be carried by someone untrustworthy.
The Peace of Solitude
The story illustrates that unreliable friends are as dangerous as untrained horses in battle, making solitude a safer and better choice. Solitude is more to be desired than the society of those who resemble the untrained horses which throw down (their riders) in the fields of battle
