Kari's Careless Mistake

In a peaceful village lived a young man named Kari. Kari was a kind person, but he had one major flaw: he was incredibly careless about his responsibilities. His best friend, Arjun, always tried to guide him. 'Kari, you must tend to your vegetable patch, or the plants will wither,' Arjun would say. Kari would simply shrug and say, 'I'll do it later.' One season, the village announced a grand festival, and everyone needed fresh flowers for the decorations. Kari had a small plot of land. Arjun warned him, 'Kari, if you plant the seeds and water them properly now, you will have beautiful flowers by the festival. Please, be diligent.' But Kari ignored the advice and didn't even bother to check the soil or the weather. He thought he could manage it at the last minute. When the festival day arrived, Kari's garden was nothing but dry, brown stalks. There were no flowers to show. He felt a deep sense of regret as he watched the village celebrate with beautiful blooms. His refusal to listen and his failure to take charge had cost him dearly.
