Want of knowledge, 'mid all wants the sorest want we deem;Want of other things the world will not as want esteem

English explanation

The want of wisdom is the greatest of all wants; but that of wealth the world will not regard as such

യഥാർത്ഥ നിധി

അറിവില്ലായ്മയാണ് മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ദാരിദ്ര്യം എന്ന് കഥയിലൂടെ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. അറിവില്ലായ്മയാണ് എല്ലാ കുറവുകളിലും വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കുറവ്; എന്നാൽ സമ്പത്തില്ലാത്തതിനെ ലോകം അത്ര വലിയ കുറവായി കാണുന്നില്ല.
