Long ago, in a peaceful valley, there lived a community of people who cherished their traditions and their beautiful, ancient temple. This temple was the heart of their village, a place of light and peace.
However, a powerful and arrogant king named Kaelen ruled the neighboring lands. Kaelen believed that everyone should follow only his ways. He did not tolerate different beliefs or customs. Driven by greed for power, he marched his army into the valley and seized control of the peaceful people.
Kaelen’s soldiers entered the sacred temple, breaking its ornaments and disrupting the quiet prayers. The people were heartbroken, feeling as though their very spirit was being crushed. But a brave young leader named Leo, along with his loyal companions, refused to give up. They organized a resistance, using their courage and wisdom to drive the invaders out of the valley.
When the victory was won, Leo and his friends hurried to the temple to restore it. But they were met with a sad sight. The temple was in ruins; the beautiful decorations were gone, and the sacred lamps had been smashed. They wanted to light a lamp to celebrate their return, but they found no oil anywhere.
As they searched through the dust, they discovered a tiny, forgotten clay jar tucked away in a corner. Inside was only a tiny amount of oil—barely enough to light a single wick for a few minutes.
"It isn't enough to do anything," one of the soldiers sighed. But Leo, filled with hope, poured the oil into a small lamp and struck a light. To everyone's amazement, the flame did not flicker or die. It burned brightly through the first night, the second night, and continued to glow steadily for eight full days and eight nights.
It was a miracle that defied logic. That small spark had turned into a beacon of hope that lasted far longer than anyone thought possible.
