In a lush green forest lived a little monkey named Kavin and his mother. Kavin had one major struggle: he was very forgetful. This made him feel quite discouraged. His mother always comforted him, saying, 'Everyone has a weakness, Kavin. If you keep trying, you will surely succeed.'
One morning, Kavin rushed to school so quickly that he forgot to wear his school vest, leaving him feeling very embarrassed when his classmates teased him. Feeling defeated, he ran home and declared, 'I will never go to school again!' Although his mother tried to encourage him, Kavin lost his confidence. As he grew older, he started a small business selling forest fruits.
One afternoon, a sly fox approached Kavin's stall. Kavin struggled to remember the correct price of the mangoes. Seeing this, the fox thought, 'This monkey is easy to trick!' The fox lied, saying, 'Yesterday you sold ten berries for one coin, right? Give them to me for the same price today.' Kavin, not realizing the trick, handed over all his fruit for very little money. The fox ran away laughing.
When Kavin told his mother, she was supportive and comforted him for being forgetful. This helped Kavin feel better. Feeling lonely and sad, he decided to travel to the city to visit his grandfather. However, during the journey, Kavin lost his way in the thick bushes. He sat under a large rock and began to cry. Just then, a sophisticated-looking monkey from the city arrived.
'Why are you crying, little one?' the city monkey asked kindly. Kavin explained his forgetfulness. The city monkey smiled and said, 'Don't worry! In this modern age, there are ways to help with that.' He reached into his bag and gave Kavin a shiny smart watch. 'This is a magical scientific tool. It will remember everything you forget,' he explained.
Kavin was amazed. He practiced by asking the watch, 'Where am I?' and it correctly identified his location. He also recorded his home address and fruit prices into the watch. Now, Kavin felt like he had a tiny, invisible friend by his side.
On his way back home, Kavin spotted the same fox lurking nearby. He asked his watch about the fox, and the watch reminded him, 'Remember, this animal tricked you before. Be careful!' Kavin felt a surge of anger and wanted to fight the fox, but the watch warned, 'Strength isn't everything; use your wits.'
Kavin approached the fox calmly. 'Sir,' Kavin said, 'a wealthy merchant was looking for your brother. He said he would pay the full price for all the fruits tomorrow if you could bring them all at once.' Greedy as he was, the fox thought, 'If I collect all the fruits now, I can make a huge profit!' The fox gave Kavin some extra coins to 'reserve' the stock and hurried away to gather more. Kavin, having recorded the whole interaction on his watch, quickly headed home. His mother was so proud of his cleverness and his new way of managing his memory. Kavin realized that while he couldn't change his memory, he could certainly learn to manage it.
