On a beautiful planet surrounded by blue clouds, lived a boy named Aryan. He loved collecting sparkling crystals and keeping them neatly arranged. He was a very hardworking boy, always busy with his tasks.
One day, a tiny blue sprout fell from the sky into his garden. Aryan carefully planted it and watered it every day. Soon, it grew into a magnificent blue flower. He named it 'Luna'. Luna would sway gently whenever Aryan approached, and they became the best of friends. Aryan would often share his stories with the flower.
However, as Aryan grew older, he became more obsessed with his crystal collection. Luna wanted to spend every moment with him, but Aryan began to feel annoyed. "I am too busy for this, Luna! I have work to do," he would snap. He felt that Luna's need for attention was a burden. Deciding he needed friends who wouldn't demand his time, Aryan set off to explore other planets.
First, he visited a grand palace. There lived a mighty King. "Can we be friends?" Aryan asked. The King agreed, but he was always preoccupied with his maps and kingdom duties. Whenever Aryan tried to talk, the King would simply nod without looking up. Aryan felt lonely.
Next, he went to a planet of artists. An artist agreed to be his friend, but he was so absorbed in his paintings that he never had a moment to spare for Aryan. Finally, he visited a scholar on a quiet planet. The scholar was polite, but his eyes never left his ancient books. Aryan realized that none of these people truly wanted to spend time with him.
Exhausted and sad, Aryan reached a forest where a wise bird lived. After listening to Aryan's story, the bird chirped softly, "Aryan, you say these people did not give you time. But did you give Luna the time she deserved? You are looking for friends who will only serve your schedule, but you have forgotten to be a friend yourself. You cannot ask for what you are unwilling to give."
Aryan froze. He realized that he had treated Luna like an object rather than a friend. He had expected her to be there for him without him offering her any care. He rushed back to his home planet. Luna was looking wilted and sad. Aryan knelt beside her and whispered, "I am so sorry, Luna. I was wrong. From now on, you will always be my priority."
From that day on, Aryan balanced his work and his friendship, realizing that true connection requires time and effort from both sides.

Before we expect time and affection from others, we must be willing to give the same to them.
