The Language of Love

In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Kavi and his grandfather. Kavi's grandfather was known for his gentle nature and the kind way he spoke to everyone. One afternoon, Kavi came home looking very upset. He had a fight with his friend, Arjun, at school. Arjun had accidentally broken Kavi's favorite pencil, and in a fit of anger, Kavi had shouted some very mean and hurtful words at him. That evening, as Kavi sat silently, his grandfather sat beside him. 'What happened, Kavi?' he asked softly. Kavi explained the incident and tearfully admitted he felt bad for being so harsh. The grandfather smiled kindly and said, 'Kavi, words can be like thorns or like flowers. When we speak out of anger, we use thorns that hurt others. But when we speak from a heart full of love, our words become flowers that heal. You know Arjun didn't mean to break your pencil. If your words carry true kindness, they will never be used to deceive or hurt.' The next day, Kavi went to Arjun. Instead of shouting, he said, 'Arjun, I am sorry for the mean things I said yesterday. I know it was an accident, and I value our friendship more than a pencil.' Arjun's eyes brightened, and he hugged Kavi. They were friends again. Kavi realized that sweet words aren't just about being polite; they are a reflection of a good heart.
