The Magic of Kind Words

In a peaceful village lived a boy named Kavin. Kavin was very smart, but his words were often sharp and unkind. Whenever he spoke, his words felt like tiny stings, making his friends feel sad or angry. Because of this, many children stopped playing with him. One afternoon, Kavin's grandfather, a wise man, sat him down. He handed Kavin a beautiful, bright flower and said, 'Kavin, words are like these flowers. If you speak kindly, people will bloom around you. But if you use harsh words, you will only find yourself alone in a garden of thorns.' Kavin didn't quite understand at first. However, later that day, when he snapped at his friend Ravi for a small mistake, he noticed that Ravi walked away with a sad face, and Kavin felt a heavy loneliness in his heart. That evening, his grandfather explained, 'Sweet words bring joy to the speaker and the listener, just like honey. Why would anyone choose to use bitter words when they can see the happiness that kindness brings?' Kavin realized his mistake. From the next day, he made a conscious effort to speak gently and warmly. He replaced 'Go away!' with 'Please wait, let's play together.' Slowly, the smiles returned to his friends' faces, and soon, Kavin was surrounded by laughter again. He learned that sweet speech is the most powerful tool to win hearts.
