The Mountain Within

In a peaceful village lived a young man named Arjun. Arjun was kind-hearted, but he had one weakness: he lost his temper very easily. One sunny afternoon, while walking to the village fair, a young boy accidentally tripped and spilled juice all over Arjun's new shirt. The boy froze, trembling with fear. Arjun's face turned red, and he felt a surge of anger rising in his chest. Just as he was about to shout, his father, Vikram, placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. 'Arjun,' Vikram whispered, 'it is easy to let anger fly, but it takes a giant's strength to hold it back.' Arjun paused. He took a deep breath, looked at the frightened boy, and instead of yelling, he smiled. 'It's okay, little one. It's just a shirt,' Arjun said softly. Seeing the boy's relief, Arjun felt a sense of peace he had never known before. He realized that controlling himself was a much greater victory than winning an argument.
