In a peaceful village lived two young men, Kavi and Rohan. Kavi was known for his kindness and gentle ways, while Rohan was incredibly talented but struggled with a bitter heart. Whenever someone else succeeded, Rohan felt a sting of jealousy. One summer, the village held a grand craft competition. Kavi worked patiently on a beautiful clay sculpture. Rohan, being naturally gifted, made a stunning piece as well. However, when the judges praised Kavi's soulful work, Rohan felt a surge of envy. Instead of celebrating, he began spreading rumors that Kavi had cheated. This unkind behavior spread through the village. Slowly, people stopped inviting Rohan to gatherings and stopped buying his crafts, not because he lacked skill, but because they couldn't trust his character. Rohan realized that while his talent was great, his lack of integrity had left him lonely and small. He learned that true greatness comes from a disciplined and respectful life.
The Brightness of Character
The story illustrates that just as envy leads to loss, a lack of proper conduct prevents a person from achieving true stature and respect. Just as the envious man will be without wealth, so will the man of destitute of propriety of conduct be without greatness
