Kari's Honest Choice

In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Kari. Kari was known for his helpful nature, while his friend, Rohan, was known for his clever tricks and small lies. One sunny afternoon, while walking near the village square, Kari found a beautiful, shiny silver ring lying in the dust. He knew it belonged to the village elder, Mr. Raghavan. Just as Kari picked it up, Rohan whispered, 'Keep it, Kari! No one saw you find it. You can buy that wooden toy you've always wanted!' Kari paused. He felt a tug in his heart. He thought about how much he wanted the toy, but then he thought about the sadness Mr. Raghavan would feel. 'If I keep this, I might get a toy, but I will lose my goodness,' Kari thought. He decided to walk straight to Mr. Raghavan's house and return the ring. When the elder saw the ring, his eyes filled with joy. He praised Kari in front of the whole village, calling him a boy of great character. Years later, Kari became a respected leader in the village, loved by everyone. Rohan, however, grew up to be someone people never trusted, always struggling because of his dishonest ways.
