Kiran and the Shadow of Envy

In a peaceful valley lived two friends, Kiran and Rohan. Kiran was a kind boy who felt genuine joy when his friends succeeded. Rohan, however, struggled with a dark feeling whenever someone else received praise. One summer, the village held an art competition. Kiran painted a beautiful landscape that captured the soul of the valley. Everyone gathered around to admire it. While Kiran was happy, Rohan felt a sting of jealousy. 'If everyone loves Kiran's art, no one will notice mine,' Rohan thought. Driven by this envy, Rohan waited until the next morning and secretly spilled ink over Kiran's masterpiece. At first, Rohan felt a tiny sense of triumph, but it quickly turned into a heavy, hollow feeling in his chest. He couldn't eat, and he couldn't sleep. The guilt felt like a constant shadow following him. Realizing that his envy had led him to do something wrong and had stolen his own peace, Rohan went to Kiran, confessed his mistake, and asked for forgiveness. He learned that hurting others out of envy only hurts oneself more.
