In a peaceful village lived a kind boy named Arjun. He had a classmate named Rohan who was often unkind to him, making fun of him in front of others. One afternoon, while playing, Rohan accidentally broke Arjun's favorite wooden toy. Arjun was furious. Driven by anger, he thought, 'Rohan is always mean to me, so I will show him how it feels.' In a moment of spite, Arjun took Rohan's small pet rabbit and hid it deep in the woods. When Rohan realized his pet was gone, he cried inconsolably. At first, Arjun felt a sense of revenge, but that feeling quickly turned into a heavy, aching sadness. Even though Rohan had made a mistake with the toy, Arjun realized he had intentionally caused suffering to someone. The guilt gnawed at him day and night. He couldn't enjoy his games or sleep peacefully. He realized that by hurting Rohan, he had only hurt his own peace of mind. Eventually, Arjun found the rabbit, returned it to Rohan, and sincerely apologized. He learned that causing harm, even in retaliation, leaves a scar on one's own soul.
