Months later, a great crisis struck. Heavy rains caused a massive flood to threaten the valley. Aryan felt a surge of fear, but he remembered his father's words. Using his learning, he studied the river's path and predicted exactly where the water would strike. Because he had remained vigilant, he had already prepared emergency supplies. When the waters rose, he showed great bravery by leading the villagers to the high hills without panicking. His alertness, wisdom, and courage saved the kingdom, and the people joyfully crowned him their new king.
