The Circle of Kindness

In a bright little village lived a boy named Sam. Sam had many wonderful toys and delicious treats, but he had a problem: he never shared anything. Whenever someone came near, he would shout, 'Stay away! These are mine!' Because of his grumpy words and selfish ways, his friends stopped visiting him. Sam spent his afternoons playing all by himself, feeling very lonely. One sunny afternoon, his friend Leo brought a colorful ball to the park. Sam watched them playing and felt a pang of sadness. He wanted to join, but Leo said gently, 'Sam, you are never kind with your things, so we don't feel welcome around you.' Sam realized that his selfishness was building a wall between him and everyone else. That evening, Sam made a choice. He gathered his best candies and went to find Leo and the others. 'Would you like to share these with me?' he asked with a warm smile. His voice was so kind and welcoming that the other children felt happy to approach him. Slowly, Sam began to share his toys and speak with sweetness. Soon, his house was always filled with laughter and friends. He learned that by giving and speaking kindly, he had gained a whole world of companions.
