In the lush valley of Chandanpur, there lived a ruler named Vikram. While he was powerful, he was also feared. Vikram believed that respect was something earned through strict rules and harsh punishments. Whenever a villager made a mistake, he would impose heavy fines or strict penalties. The people of Chandanpur walked with their heads down, not out of respect, but out of fear. An old, wise woman named Meera once approached him and said, 'Your Majesty, a crown held by fear is heavy and unstable. A crown held by love is light and lasting.' Vikram laughed and ignored her. He grew even stricter, seizing lands and punishing even the smallest errors. Slowly, the joy left the valley. People stopped celebrating festivals, and eventually, they began moving away to other lands to escape his shadow. Soon, Vikram sat in his grand palace, surrounded by gold but completely alone. Without the people to support his rule, his kingdom crumbled into silence. He realized too late that fear can command a moment, but only love can sustain a kingdom.
