In a peaceful village lived a boy named Ethan. Ethan was bright, but his sharp tongue often hurt those around him. One afternoon, during a village festival, Ethan accidentally bumped into his friend, Leo. Instead of apologizing, Ethan shouted, 'It was your fault for standing in the way!' Leo felt hurt and walked away, and soon, all the other children stopped playing with Ethan. Feeling lonely, Ethan sat under a tree, upset. His grandfather approached him and handed him a small jar of honey. 'Ethan,' he said softly, 'harsh words are like thorns that prick, but kind words are like honey that heals. A true leader speaks in a way that makes friends stay close and even makes those who are angry want to be his friend.' The next day, Ethan found Leo. He didn't yell. Instead, he looked Leo in the eyes and said, 'Leo, I am truly sorry for what I said yesterday. I was wrong, and I value our friendship more than being right. Will you forgive me?' Hearing the sincerity in Ethan's voice, Leo smiled and hugged him. Seeing this, the other children returned to play with Ethan. He realized that his words could either build walls or build bridges.
