Arjun's Careful Words

In a bright little village lived a boy named Arjun. He was very smart, but he had one big flaw: he spoke before he thought. One afternoon at school, during a class discussion, a boy named Maran shared an idea about how to plant trees. Without thinking, Arjun interrupted loudly, 'That's wrong! You don't know what you're talking about!' The classroom went silent. Maran looked surprised but stayed quiet. However, the teacher looked at Arjun and asked, 'Arjun, can you explain why Maran is wrong? Do you have any facts to support your claim?' Arjun stuttered. He had no facts, only anger. He felt very embarrassed as his classmates whispered. That evening, Arjun told his grandfather what happened. His grandfather smiled kindly and said, 'Arjun, before you let a word leave your mouth, make sure there is no other word strong enough to defeat it. If you speak without certainty, your own words will defeat you.' A week later, there was another debate. This time, Arjun didn't rush. He spent days reading books and gathering facts. When it was his turn to speak, he presented his ideas so clearly and strongly that no one could argue against him. Arjun learned that true strength lies in speaking only when your words are unshakable.
