A true fortress is one that cannot be broken by siege, assault, or undermining.

In a peaceful valley lived a young boy named Leo and his wise grandfather. At the heart of their village stood an ancient stone fortress. One day, a greedy warlord decided to take over the village. He first tried to blockade the fortress, surrounding it with high fences to stop any food or water from entering, hoping the people inside would starve. But the villagers were prepared; they had deep wells and secret granaries built into the very foundation. Next, the warlord launched a massive assault, hurling heavy boulders to smash the walls. When that failed, he tried to undermine the fortress by digging tunnels beneath it to make the walls collapse. However, the fortress was built with such incredible strength and clever engineering that neither the hunger, the battering, the nor the digging could break it. After many failed attempts, the warlord gave up in frustration. Leo asked his grandfather, 'Grandpa, why couldn't they break the walls?' His grandfather replied, 'Leo, a true fortress is not just stone and mortar; it is a stronghold that remains standing even when faced with blockades, direct attacks, and secret tunnels.'
