In a peaceful village lived two best friends, Arjun and Rohan. They had been inseparable since childhood. Arjun was careful and thoughtful, while Rohan was energetic and often acted without thinking. One summer, they decided to make small wooden toy boxes to sell at the local market. Arjun carefully measured everything, but Rohan, feeling overly confident because of their long friendship, decided to skip the final sanding and tightening of the hinges. 'Don't worry, Arjun!' Rohan laughed. 'We've known each other forever. I know exactly what I'm doing!' Arjun warned him, 'Rohan, the lid feels loose. Let's fix it properly.' But Rohan brushed him off, thinking, 'He's just being too cautious; we are best friends, I don't need to listen to every little thing.' The next day, a little girl came to buy a box. As soon as she lifted the lid, the hinge snapped, and the box broke. The girl was sad, and the boys felt terrible. Arjun didn't yell. Instead, he said softly, 'Rohan, you didn't do this because you are careless. You did it because you felt so close to me that you thought my warnings didn't matter. Our friendship made you overconfident.' Rohan realized that true friendship requires respecting each other's wisdom, not just enjoying each other's company.
