The Mask of Friendship

In a peaceful village lived a kind boy named Kavin. He had a friend named Ravi who was always by his side. Ravi would often say, 'Kavin, you are my everything! I will do anything for you.' To anyone watching, their friendship looked incredibly deep and loving. However, Ravi lacked true goodness in his heart; he was secretly envious and dishonest. One day, Kavin kept his savings in a small wooden box. Ravi saw it. Over the next few days, Ravi became even more affectionate, hugging Kavin and acting like a protective brother. Under this guise of extreme love, Ravi eventually stole the money. Kavin was heartbroken, not just by the loss, but by the realization that Ravi's affection was a mask. Kavin decided to slowly distance himself from Ravi. At first, it felt lonely, but soon Kavin felt a sense of peace. He realized that it is much better to have less friendship with a bad person than to be deeply entangled with one.
