The True Mirror

In a small town lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun loved being surrounded by friends who were always laughing and joking. His best friend, Rohan, was the life of every party, always making jokes. However, Rohan's jokes often poked fun at Arjun's mistakes, making him feel small inside. Arjun laughed along to fit in, but he never felt truly supported. One day, Arjun entered a science competition. He worked tirelessly on a model, but when he showed it to Rohan, Rohan just laughed and said, 'That looks like a pile of junk, Arjun!' Feeling defeated, Arjun sat alone by the park. Suddenly, Vikram, a boy who was often quite strict and didn't join the laughter, walked up to him. Vikram looked at the model and said, 'It’s a good start, Arjun, but your wiring is loose. If you fix this connection, it will actually work. Don't listen to those who only want to laugh at you; listen to those who tell you the truth.' Arjun took Vikram's advice and fixed the model. At the competition, Arjun's model worked perfectly and won the first prize. Arjun realized that while Rohan provided laughter, Vikram provided the truth that led to success. He learned that a critic who helps you grow is worth more than a thousand friends who only laugh with you.
