The Broken Garden

In a peaceful village, two friends named Arjun and Rohan decided to start a small vegetable garden together. Arjun was hardworking and careful, while Rohan was often careless. As the plants began to sprout, Arjun spent his evenings watering them and pulling out weeds. Rohan, however, would often say, 'Don't worry, they will grow on their own,' and would go off to play. One summer, a swarm of insects attacked the garden. Arjun worked day and night to protect the plants, but Rohan saw the damage and simply shrugged, saying, 'It's just a few leaves, it doesn't matter.' Because of Rohan's refusal to help when it mattered most, half of their hard work was destroyed. Arjun realized that Rohan wasn't just being lazy; he was actively undoing the work they had started together. Arjun decided to distance himself from Rohan. He understood that a person who starts a task but acts in a way that destroys it is not a true friend, but an enemy in disguise.
