Karthik and the Empty Circle

In a bright, sunny village lived a boy named Karthik. Karthik was energetic, but he had a habit that made everyone stay away: he was unkind. He often made fun of others, told lies to get his way, and lost his temper over the smallest things. His best friend, Arjun, always tried to guide him, but Karthik rarely listened. One afternoon, the village held a grand scavenger hunt. Karthik was determined to win the golden trophy. Instead of working with others, he spent his time mocking his classmates, saying, 'You are too slow to be my friend!' During the hunt, Karthik made a mistake and tripped, breaking a precious community lantern. He tried to blame someone else, but everyone knew the truth. Because of his constant lies and rude behavior, no one came to help him pick up the pieces. As he sat alone, Karthik realized that by focusing only on his faults and ignoring kindness, he had pushed away everyone who cared. He had become his own enemy.
