Vimal's Heart of Gold

In a peaceful village lived a boy named Vimal. He had a neighbor named Ravi, who was quite a bully. Ravi loved to tease Vimal and often snatched his toys away. Vimal felt a lot of anger toward Ravi. One afternoon, while Vimal was playing with his brand-new colorful toy car, Ravi ran up, knocked it over, and tossed it into a muddy puddle. Vimal felt like crying, but instead of fighting back, he chose to stay quiet. A few days later, during the village fair, Ravi was running excitedly when he suddenly tripped over a stone. He fell hard, and his new shoe slipped into a deep, narrow crack in the ground. The other children gathered around and started laughing at his clumsiness. Vimal, however, didn't laugh. He rushed over, helped Ravi up, and used his own handkerchief to clean the scrape on Ravi's knee. He even helped Ravi retrieve his shoe. Ravi was stunned. 'Why are you helping me?' he asked, his voice trembling. 'I was so mean to you,' Vimal replied with a gentle smile, 'but you are my classmate, and seeing you hurt made me want to help.' That moment of kindness melted Ravi's anger. From that day on, the boy who was once a foe became Vimal's most loyal friend.
