The Key to Kindness

In a bright little village lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun was very smart, but he had a habit of being aloof. He rarely smiled and always kept a serious, almost grumpy face. Because of this, the other children found it difficult to approach him or play with him. One sunny morning, the village elder, Mr. Raghav, announced a challenge: 'Whoever finds the hidden treasure under the Great Banyan Tree at the edge of the village shall receive a special reward!' Arjun was excited and rushed toward the tree. However, the journey was not easy. He needed a boat to cross a stream and a strong hand to move a heavy stone. Arjun tried to do everything alone, thinking, 'If I don't talk to anyone, I don't need anyone.' But as he struggled, he felt lonely and exhausted. Just then, a boy named Rohan passed by. Rohan was known for being friendly to everyone, from the oldest person to the smallest child. Seeing Arjun struggling, Rohan said, 'Hey Arjun, why are you trying to do this all by yourself? Let's do it together!' Rohan's warmth melted Arjun's icy exterior. Arjun realized his mistake and started asking others for help with a smile. Soon, a group of children joined them, helping each other overcome every obstacle. When they finally reached the tree, they didn't find gold. Instead, they found a beautiful book titled 'The Essence of Virtue.' Arjun realized that by being easy to talk to and kind to all, he had gained something much more valuable than gold: the friendship of everyone and the path to being a good person.
