Sharp Mind, Kind Heart

In a peaceful village lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun was incredibly smart; he could solve the most difficult math problems in seconds. His intellect was as sharp as a fine blade. However, Arjun was often rude to his classmates. One afternoon, his friend Rohan accidentally broke Arjun's pencil. Instead of understanding, Arjun shouted harsh words at Rohan, making him feel small and embarrassed. Rohan left the room in tears. Arjun's grandfather, who saw this, called him aside. 'Arjun,' he said gently, 'being smart is a gift, but if you use your sharpness to hurt others, you are no different from a tree. A tree may be tall and strong, but it has no feelings or kindness. To be a true human, you must possess character and compassion.' Arjun realized that his intelligence was useless if it made him lonely. The next day, he approached Rohan, apologized for his behavior, and shared his pencils. He learned that being a good person is far more important than being the smartest person in the room.
