Meera found herself staring at the path he took, her eyes growing tired and red from the tears shed in his absence. When Arjun finally returned, he saw the exhaustion in Meera's gaze. He took her hands and whispered, 'My dear, the very eyes that fell in love with me and caused this longing are now suffering from the pain of missing me. It hurts to see you like this, yet my heart feels a strange joy knowing how deeply you love me.' In that moment, they realized that their shared sorrow was simply another form of their profound connection.
