In a quiet valley lived a couple named Maya and Arjun. Maya was spirited and sometimes, when frustrated, she would lash out with sharp words. One rainy afternoon, due to a small misunderstanding, Maya became very angry with Arjun. She decided to ignore him completely, thinking, 'He will see how serious I am!' Days passed. Maya felt a heavy weight of guilt in her heart. She expected Arjun to be upset or to argue back, but he didn't. Instead, he continued to care for her with the same warmth, bringing her tea and asking about her day with a gentle smile. One evening, unable to hold it back, Maya tearfully asked, 'Why aren't you angry with me? I was so unkind to you, yet you treat me like nothing happened. Don't you feel hurt?' Arjun sat beside her and said softly, 'Your anger is just a passing cloud, Maya, but my love for you is the sky. No matter how much you try to push me away with anger, I only see the person I love.' Maya realized that true love is a sanctuary that remains calm even in the storms of temper.
