Deep within a lush green forest, a mother bear lived in a cozy cave with her playful cub. The cub was full of energy, always tumbling and rolling through the ferns. Before heading out to forage one morning, the mother bear looked her son in the eyes and said, "My little one, play all you want, but remember: when trouble finds you, do not let fear cloud your mind. Use your wits, for intelligence is stronger than any claw."
Later that day, while the mother was searching for berries far away, the cub felt lonely. Driven by curiosity, he wandered deeper into the woods than he ever had before. He spent the afternoon chasing dragonflies and jumping over mossy logs. Suddenly, a low, terrifying growl echoed through the trees.
Out from the shadows stepped a massive tiger, its eyes fixed hungrily on the small cub. "A perfect little snack to brighten my afternoon!" the tiger chuckled. The cub’s heart raced, and his legs felt like jelly. But then, he remembered his mother’s words. He took a deep breath and looked around frantically for a way to escape.
He noticed a peculiar sight: a giant boulder was precariously balanced, leaning heavily against a much smaller stone. If that small stone moved, the giant boulder would tumble. However, the cub knew he was far too small to move such a heavy rock himself.
He needed a plan. He looked up at the tiger and said, "Oh, mighty Tiger! I have heard stories of your incredible strength. They say you are the strongest creature in these woods!" The tiger puffed out its chest, looking proud. "It is true!" it roared.
"Then, if you are truly so powerful," the cub continued, tilting his head, "could you show me? Could you move just that tiny little stone right there with a single paw?" The tiger, eager to prove its dominance, laughed. "That is child's play!" With a mighty swipe of its paw, the tiger struck the small stone.
As soon as the small stone was knocked away, the massive boulder lost its balance and crashed down right where the tiger stood. The tiger was caught off guard by the sudden chaos. Seizing the moment, the little bear scrambled away into the thick bushes as fast as his legs could carry him. Soon after, his worried mother arrived. When the cub told her how he had used his mind to stay safe, she hugged him tight, proud of the brave and clever bear he was becoming.
