In a lush green forest, there lived a massive elephant named Gajapati. Because of his immense size and strength, he was incredibly arrogant. He often used his power to bully the smaller animals, making them run away in fear whenever he approached.

Near a large banyan tree, a colony of tiny ants worked tirelessly every day, collecting seeds and crumbs to prepare for the rainy season. One afternoon, Gajapati spotted them. Instead of admiring their hard work, he decided to have some fun. He sucked up a trunkful of water from a nearby pond and sprayed it directly onto the ants' food stores.

'Look at you tiny creatures, struggling so much for such little morsels!' Gajapati laughed. The ants were devastated as their precious food was soaked and ruined. The leader of the ants whispered to his followers, 'Do not lose hope. Strength is not always about size.'

A few days later, while Gajapati was taking a deep nap under the shade, the little ant decided it was time to teach him a lesson. The ant quietly climbed up the elephant's trunk and began to bite the sensitive inner lining.

Gajapati woke up with a start, trumpeting in pain. 'Ow! My trunk! Something is biting me! Please, whoever it is, stop!' he wailed, thrashing his head from side to side. The ant crawled out and stood before the giant eye of the elephant. 'You thought we were nothing because we are small, but now you cannot even stand the bite of one tiny ant,' the ant said firmly.

Realizing how much pain a tiny creature could cause, Gajapati felt deeply ashamed. 'I am so sorry,' he pleaded, his eyes filled with tears. 'I was wrong to treat you with such cruelty. I promise to respect everyone from now on.' The ants forgave him, and from that day on, Gajapati became the forest's most gentle protector.
