In a lush green forest lived a fox named Somu. Somu was incredibly lazy. Instead of hunting for himself, he would wait for other foxes to do the hard work and then sneakily steal their meals. The other foxes grew tired of his trickery. They made a plan: 'One group will hunt for food, and the other group will chase Somu whenever he tries to steal!'
Soon, Somu found himself with nothing to eat. Driven by hunger, he wandered deep into a part of the forest he had never visited before. He eventually reached the ruins of an old, abandoned fortress. Suddenly, a terrifying sound echoed through the air. 'Thump! Rumble!' It sounded like a giant beast was breathing and moving nearby.
Somu’s heart raced. 'I must run! It's a monster!' he thought, turning to flee. But as he ran, a thought stopped him. 'If I keep running from every noise, I will always be hungry and afraid. I must face this sound.'
With trembling legs, he crept toward the noise. To his surprise, he found that the sound was just the wind blowing through a hollow iron drum and an old clay pot that had fallen over. There was no monster at all.
Right next to the drum, he discovered a hidden cache of dried meat and sweet fruits left behind by travelers long ago. It was enough to feed him for many days. 'If I had let my fear win, I would have missed this feast,' Somu realized. From that day on, Somu decided to be brave and work for his own food instead of being a lazy thief.
