In a lush, green forest, hundreds of birds lived together in harmony. While the land animals had a mighty lion as their king, the birds felt they needed a leader of their own to guide them. One sunny morning, all the birds gathered on the Great Banyan Tree to elect a new king.
Arguments broke out immediately. An old Owl suggested, "The king should be the one who looks the most majestic and grand." However, a bright Myna chirped, "No, majesty is nothing without skill. The king should be the one who can fly the highest in the sky!"
Hearing this, the mighty Eagle spread its massive wings and declared, "I am the master of the clouds! No one can fly as high as I can. Therefore, I am your rightful king!"
A tiny Sparrow, watching from a nearby twig, spoke up softly, "Words are easy, but actions prove the truth. Why don't we have a flying competition to see who is truly the best?" The birds agreed, and the competition began.
The Eagle soared upwards, piercing through the clouds. But as the air grew thin and cold, the Eagle began to feel frightened. It struggled to maintain its height, its heart racing with fear. Just when it seemed the Eagle had reached its limit, something incredible happened. The little Sparrow, using its quick and agile wings, darted upward like a tiny arrow. It zipped right past the Eagle, reaching a height that even the great bird hadn't dared to touch.
The other birds gasped in wonder. They saw that while the Eagle was strong, the Sparrow possessed a remarkable speed and determination that allowed it to soar even higher.
Recognizing its courage and incredible skill, the birds cheered loudly. The tiny Sparrow, despite its small size, was crowned the King of the Birds.
Moral
Never judge anyone by their size; true greatness lies in ability and determination.
