In a peaceful village lived two friends, Arjun and Rohan. Arjun was known for his kindness; he always spoke the truth and respected his elders. Rohan, on the other hand, thought being clever meant playing tricks on others and telling small lies to get his way.
One afternoon, during the village fair, an elderly man accidentally dropped his leather pouch. Arjun saw it, picked it up immediately, and ran to return it to the old man. The man smiled warmly and said, 'Your good character is a seed that will grow into a great tree of blessings.' Rohan laughed, whispering, 'Why bother being so honest? It's too much work!'
Months later, Arjun's father fell ill and needed help with his small business. To his surprise, the very man Arjun had helped turned out to be a wealthy merchant who stepped in to support the family. Rohan, however, had spent his time tricking his neighbors. When he faced a difficult situation, no one was willing to help him because they no longer trusted him. Rohan realized that his bad behavior had only brought him loneliness and regret.
