In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Leo. Leo had a heart full of compassion. One evening, while walking near the river, he spotted a tiny sparrow lying on the ground, its wing injured and trembling. The little bird looked terrified.
Instead of walking away, Leo carefully picked it up. He made a small, cozy nest for it and brought water and seeds every day. For many days, he cared for the bird as if it were his own kin. Slowly, the sparrow regained its strength and began to flutter its wings.
A few weeks later, while Leo was playing in the woods, he accidentally tripped and fell into a deep, narrow pit. He couldn't climb out, and no one could hear his cries. Just as fear began to take over, he heard a familiar chirping. It was the same sparrow, flying overhead with a large group of birds, making a loud commotion. The noise caught the attention of Leo's father and the villagers, who rushed to the spot and pulled him to safety.
That day, Leo realized that the kindness he had shown to a small creature had returned to protect him when he needed it most.
