The Light of Kindness

In a peaceful village lived a boy named Kavi. Kavi was incredibly smart; he could solve any puzzle and knew everything about science. However, Kavi lacked something essential—compassion. He believed that everything in life should have a logical reason. One afternoon, he saw his friend, Arjun, sitting under a tree, gently feeding a stray kitten. Kavi laughed and said, 'Arjun, why are you wasting your time? That kitten won't give you anything in return!' Arjun smiled softly and replied, 'Kavi, some things are done not for a reason, but because of kindness.' That night, Kavi read an old scroll that spoke of a great scholar who searched for the ultimate truth. The scholar was brilliant, but because his heart was cold and lacked empathy, the truth he found felt hollow and meaningless, like a shadow without a body. Kavi realized that his intelligence was like a lamp, but compassion was the oil that kept the flame alive. Without kindness, even the greatest knowledge is empty.
