In a peaceful village lived two friends, Karthik and Rohan. Karthik was known for his honesty and kindness, while Rohan always looked for shortcuts to make money. One summer, the village temple announced a large order for sweets for the annual festival. Karthik’s family ran a small sweet shop, and they were eager to take the order.
Rohan, seeing an opportunity, whispered to Karthik, 'Why use expensive, pure ghee? Let's use cheap, artificial fats instead. No one will notice, and we will make double the profit!' Rohan had built his small business on such small lies and tricks. However, when the festival arrived, the sweets made with poor quality ingredients caused many villagers to fall ill. The truth quickly came out, and Rohan's reputation was ruined. He lost his customers, his business, and the respect of the village. While Karthik’s family grew stronger through their honest work, Rohan learned the hard way that a life built on fraud eventually collapses under its own weight.
