The Shadow of Anger

In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun was bright and kind, but he had one flaw: he held onto anger very easily. Whenever someone made a mistake, he would get furious and refuse to forgive. One afternoon, his best friend, Leo, accidentally broke a wooden toy that Arjun cherished deeply. Arjun was heartbroken and enraged. He yelled at Leo and stopped speaking to him. But the anger didn't stop there. Because Arjun was so angry at Leo, he started feeling grumpy toward everyone else too. He stopped playing with his other friends and spent his days feeling heavy and unhappy. His grandfather, seeing his sadness, sat him down. 'Arjun,' he said gently, 'anger is like a tiny spark that can grow into a forest fire. When you hold onto anger, it doesn't just hurt the other person; it creates a fountain of bitterness in your own heart. It makes you lose your joy.' Arjun realized that his anger was making his own life miserable. The next day, he went to Leo, forgave him, and they became friends again. As the anger faded, Arjun's happiness returned.
